Help raise money and have fun in the process

The “Patriot Pride” Ben Franklin Jog-A-Thon takes place on October 3th, 2019.  The Jog-a-Thon is our school’s annual fundraiser and all proceeds will support programs for our entire student body.  Money raised from this year’s event will provide enrichment opportunities for the school like; Family Fun Nights, cultural assemblies, playground and sports equipment, back to school ice cream social, field trip support, end of year picnic, and more!

Everything you need to collect pledges is included in a jog-a-thon packet that will be included in Friday folders.  Please use the pledge envelope to record your child’s pledges and include collected donations.  Don’t forget to check out all the reward prizes and parties on the back of this letter.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

September 15th
We are currently seeking sponsorships for this year’s event, which will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Sponsorships will help us off-set the cost of this event. Please let us know if you can sponsor this event by 9/15.

  • A presenting sponsor at $500 This sponsorship will include recognition and top billing on event signage as well as mention in all social media and written event communications.*
  • Multiple sponsors* at the $250 This sponsorship will include recognition on event signage and mentions in social media postings.*
*All sponsorships include a sense of fulfillment, the satisfaction of having done something great for Franklin students and the deep gratitude of the Franklin PTA

Kids will come home with a bracelet noting the number of laps they ran

All children will run laps on our track, which is about 200 meters.  Students will have between 15 and 20 minutes of running time, depending on their grade.  Come cheer your child and their class as they run their laps!

Sign up for a time slot or the whole day!

We are always looking for volunteers. We will have several time slots to fill, but you are welcome to help the full day. This is a fun event and the children love being out and running around rain or shine. Contact to let us know if you can help.
